Certified Nurse Anesthesiologist (AA) - Hospital Setting (FTE, PTE, and PRN)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Anesthesiologist (AA) to join our anesthesia care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. You will work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period.
Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia, sedation, and pain management techniques as part of an anesthesia care team
Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and risk evaluations
Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans based on patient needs and procedural requirements
Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout procedures, adjusting care as necessary
Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes
Provide post-anesthesia care, including pain control and recovery evaluation
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence
Participate in continuing education, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Current licensure as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA), as applicable
Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA), or equivalent certification
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida
BLS and ACLS certification required
Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Previous hospital-based anesthesia experience preferred
